"There's Hope" started singing as a group on March 22, 2001. Since that time we were blessed to have been able to share the stage with many local Southern Gospel best. We enjoyed every minute of it. God was good to us. Our first project was released around Christmas of 2002 and was very successful and accepted well. You are listening to the lead song on that project. Our trademark was our close harmony. Bev and Dave are masters at harmony. We were so blessed to have them.

Our message was simple, and that is "THERE'S HOPE". That is why we chose the name that we did. "There is Hope." There are so many people in this world who have lost hope.

Our first project sold very well. We are very grateful to all of you who have purchased it, both for yourself and as gifts for others. We are humbled by the reception that it has received. Our group was composed of Dave Council, Beverly Bates, and myself, Barbara Tubbs. We didn't try to copy anyone else, and our sound was totally our own. We were not the typical group. We were in this to spread the message of hope. We sang a variety of tempos in close harmony that present our message, and I think you will have to look long and hard to find anyone better at close harmony than Dave and Bev. I feel very fortunate to have had them.

But alas, circumstances change, and we are no longer together. I have moved out of the area and am pursuing other ventures. I have remarried and my husband and I are working on a music ministry of us together. Bev and Dave are still in the west TN area and are singing in other groups.
